Getting pregnant, being pregnant, and having a baby are all monumental times in a woman’s life. I know first hand having two children of my own. During my first pregnancy I was working full time and earning a masters degree. There was no time for relaxation. While I was on the go around the clock, I was exhausted and had morning sickness for the first six months. Our daughter was born a month early and luckily weighed 6.3 pounds, but I ended up with preeclampsia during labor. With our second child I slowed down and focused on my health, nutrition, exercise, and stress level. My pregnancy was so much better, and my labor and recovery after delivery was dramatically easier. I was back in my jeans in a very short time!
